This is to let everyone know that Cheyenne is now home and happy to be back. She had to walk the last half mile to her pen but was so pleased to be back that about one third of the way she ran on her three good legs. In several areas she sunk to her chest in the melting snow. For the past couple of hours she has been laying in her favorite spot, (on top of the roof of her house where she can survey her kingdom), howling to all of her pack mates reminding them that The Alpha is back and in charge again. I dont know how she did it but while I was gone she buried a huge bone for later enjoyment. She still has some healing yet to do but she is ready visitors. This has been an expensive and long two months but it is now over and she is glad to be back home. A great Thanks goes out to Dr. Madole and his staff for the great care they provided to Chey while she was with them.
