Mocha!
December 30, 2007 by brian.

We have a new addition to our pack: Mocha. She is Mastiff and Australian Cattle dog. When I saw her at the DDFL, I thought she may have had Pit Bull in her. Our vet thought she has some Boxer in her. She was born in mid-October at the Denver Dumb Friends League. She came home with us on the 17th of December, weighing 13 pounds. Daisy promptly established her alpha position with Mocha. Chloe didn’t quite know what to make of her, but is slowly coming around and is starting to play with her. Chloe’s version of playing is getting right in Mocha’s face and barking in her ear. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it! Let’s play!!

Phrosty Photographs
December 25, 2007 by brian.

Recently we had a cold blast blow through. There must have been some humidity with that front as well since it left frost on just about everything. I managed to capture some photographs which you may view here.

Developing an image
December 25, 2007 by brian.

I recently picked up Scott Kelby’s 7-Point System for Adobe Photoshop CS3 and applied his system to the above photograph. The result was truly amazing! Colors and items that were hiding in the shadows now appear. The enhanced photograph should be here … eventually. But until I do, you should be able to view it here.
